Renewing our mind is like gradually wiping dirt off a window. We can see through the dirt, but as we clean up the window, we can see a whole lot better. When we earnestly renew our minds, we see God’s character better and we see ourselves as God really sees us. We see our areas of weakness and we are confronted with ourselves to do better.
We can only do better with the help of the Holy Spirit. As we allow Him to clean up our lives, we can live a more Christlike life. We must cooperate with the Lord and the process starts with us making an effort to read our Bibles and to pray.

the puzzle of life

Do you sit around and worry about the complications in your life? Have you ever tried to figure out why “life” goes the way that it does?
Today many believers are concerned about fulfilling their destiny. They do all they can to make it happen. The preoccupation of being fulfilled forces a person to constantly think or dream about tomorrow.
Disillusionment and discontent set in because unfulfilled dreams and aspirations are deeply rooted in the selfish sin nature. Jesus commanded every Christian not to worry about tomorrow. He wants us to live for today.
Jesus taught His disciples, “Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:34
Destiny is not a “future issue” but rather a “faith issue.”

Fear, the enemy of true peace

Pastor says: God never said DIE NOT, SORROW NOT, or SUFFER NOT, but He did say, ‘FEAR NOT!’ And when you take the fear out of life, then all the terrible experiences- all the trials and all the suffering-become bearable.
John 14:33 (NKJV)“These things have I spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.”
True Peace is one of the most precious assets that anyone can have. Some people like drama and strife and do not know how to have peace in their inner spirit.
Christians have peace available to them, but they must learn to stay away from strife.

CONSIDER THE WORD!

5/18/2021

If God says He will do something for you, He will do it! He always keeps his promises. God means what He says and says what He means. God will not mislead you or direct you to failure! God will always guide you in the right direction, but there are some things that you have to do in order to receive direction from Him.
Remember that even when every demon in hell stands against you, the God of Abraham remains faithful to all of His promises. He can do anything, but He cannot fail! He will not fail his own people who put their total trust in Him. If there is any failure, it is in people’s ability to follow God. But there are keys to receiving the fulfillment of God’s promises, and we can look at Abraham’s life to see an example of Abraham allowing God’s will to be done in his life.

Do you feel like the struggles of life are too great to handle? Well, you're right. Life's struggles are too great for us to handle alone. When life's trials control our minds and our lives, we tend to feel desperately alone in the struggle.
God is constantly nudging our spirit and telling us there is nothing greater than His grace and power.

Do not let your heart be troubled!

By Pat Dalrymple
There is so much turmoil and unrest in this world today, but as Christians, we can have peace in the midst of it. We do not have to settle for the false peace of denial or even apathy. We can live in this world and have the gift of God’s peace, but we must understand how to get it and how to keep it.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
Peace is not an absence of turmoil, emotion, indifference, or insensitivity to suffering or injustice. We don’t have to close ourselves off into our homes to have peace.
Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad. Proverbs 12:25
Many people are anxious and worried about what is going to happen in our world. Fears of covid, losing income, relationship problems—there’s plenty of things to have anxiety these days. Living in constant fear will open the door to all kinds of anxieties and unrest. Fear can cause people to make bad decisions.  Fear can make a person so paralyzed that they can make no decision. Fear will kill any hope of having a peaceful life.
Total Trust in God----------Total Peace
Some Trust-----------------Some Peace
No Trust--------------------No Peace
