Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:24
I remember when my daughter Stacey was young and just loved to dress up!  We had a special occasion coming up and she wanted a new dress. I agreed that I would buy her one on Monday, but she would have to wait until Saturday when she could shop for the dress.
She was excited and happy knowing the new dress would be hers on Saturday. She lived in joy dreaming of that new dress all week. She told anyone who would listen that her daddy is going to buy her a new dress.
A person might say, “Well, I don't see it.”  But Stacey knew it was hers. She will see it on Saturday.
She rejoiced on Monday through Friday, because she knew Saturday was coming
I only consented to buying the dress once on Monday. I merely said, "Yes". Never once did she come back and say, "Now Daddy are you sure you're not lying to me?"
If she had doubted my promise, she would have become downcast and depressed. Her friends would have to ask , "why are you sad?" She would have had to answer. "My daddy said he was going to buy me a new dress, but you know I can't trust him. He's probably lying to me."
Thank God she never had to say that, because she has confidence in my word as her father.
She knew Saturday is coming!

Faith Has a Divine Rest
Our key text says, Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:24
It’s your responsibility to discover what the Word of God says in regards to your family situation, your body, your mind, your emotions, your business, or whatever it is  you need and desire.
Then pray and believe that you receive your answer.
You do not believe that you have, you believe that you receive, and then you shall have.
Apply the spiritual principles from the time you say with a heart full of faith, "I believe, I have received," and the time you actually see the answer will come into manifestation.
There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.  Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. Hebrews 4:9-11
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 1 John 5:14-15
Confidence is knowing that we have it.
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.  Eph 3:12
In Webster’s dictionary, confidence is the feeling or belief that one can rely on someone or something; firm trust. It is (1) faith and trust (2) consciousness of feeling sure (3) bold and being certain.
Greek (pepoithesis) from (peitho) – To persuade. It comes from the perfect participle form which refers to a past process of being completely persuaded, with the present result that we are in a confirmed and settled state of utter confidence.
A confident faith is one that knows what Jesus wrought is done and therefore we can move out in areas of complete victory.
Confidence is an unreserved approach with freedom and without fear, so to be successful, we must develop an unshakeable confidence in the Word of God. We must trust God no matter what happens.
Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of patience, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: Hebrews 10:35-36
Faith rests in the integrity of Jesus Christ alone. It is not some doctrine. It is not just something written somewhere, but our confidence must abide in HIM!
Praise Is Faith at Work
Every trial, every sickness, every trouble originates with the devil. The devil wants to destroy your confidence in God. When doubt and fear begin to crop up, it is time to double down on the promises of God and stop believing what the circumstances are projecting rather than what the Word of God is saying.
When you say what God says about your situation, you will begin to see your situation as God sees it. But if you beg God and try to bargain with Him regarding a situation, you open the door to allowing the devil shake your confidence in the Lord.
Abraham had an unshakeable confidence in God's promise to him
Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be [a]sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all 17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; 18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” 19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God. Romans 4:16-20
Abraham praised God and grew strong in his faith. Abraham never lost his ability to praise.
He had an unshakeable confidence in God. He believed God and did not doubt, even though the natural situation looked totally hopeless.
In Joshua 6, we read the story of Joshua marching around the walls of Jericho.
God has said, "See, I have given this city into your hands"
That is the past, present, perfect tense-meaning I have already done it-SEE IT AS GOD SEES IT!
At the tomb of Lazarus, Jesus praised The Father and thanked Him. He had confidence that God heard his prayer for Lazarus and that it was already done.
Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.” John 11: 40-44
Are you in a difficult situation today? Does it look like the answer to your prayer will not be manifested? Are all the signs of defeat staring you down?
Lift up your eyes! Saturday is coming! God is faithful to His Word.
He has never lied and never failed to keep His Word!
Your need will be met!
You may have to march for 6 days but on that 7th day victory will be manifested!
God is better than us earthly fathers. God will not lie nor fail!
SATURDAY IS COMING!!!!
