Are you in a difficult situation? Does the circumstance appear as an evil giant that is assigned to discourage, distract you from God, distress you to the point of giving up? Many people today run when things get hard. They run from their problems. They run from responsibility. They run from people they don’t like. They run from the past. It is easier to run than face the problem and stand! Instead of facing the issue and dealing with it, many look for the path of least resistance, which isn’t the path to victory. If we are going to embrace all that God has for us, we need to learn how to face our challenges head on. God wants you to TRUST Him with all your heart. To Trust Is to Place Your Confidence Only in God
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5 To Trust Is to Acknowledge God in Everything In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:6 Acknowledging God means knowing God wherever we are and whatever we are doing. This does not just mean intellectual assent, but an act of perceiving his character and will in every moment of life. Jeremiah 17: 5-8 (gives us clarity): Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land which is not inhabited. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. Today, know that God is with you. He is for you. You are equipped to overcome. Stand strong, stand in faith, knowing that you will see the salvation and deliverance of Almighty God in every area of your life! It is not that life no longer has difficulties, but that those difficulties are nothing to fear and that we can remain confident in God during them. He keeps us vibrant and useful to his will even when we feel languished or that the times are against us. As we trust more in Jesus we have confidence to act on his will. Acknowledging God in everything means that we remember that no circumstances come to us outside of the Father’s will. Knowing this will give us strength even through difficulties, pains, and fears, because we know that God will never leave our side. Notice that the Word of God does not imply, “Keep running until you see the salvation of the Lord.” It doesn’t say, “Bury your head in the sand until God delivers you.” It doesn’t say, “Worry all night and try to figure things out until a miracle takes place.” No, God wants us to stand strong, set our faces like a flint, and fight the good fight of faith. And the good news is you don’t have to do it in your own strength! God is on your side. He’s equipped you with His supernatural power to overcome every obstacle. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5 THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!
